"non lo so" ("I don't know") 2004

Using found footage from the first scenes in Antonioni's film l'eclisse (the eclipse), the video portraits a state of emotional fatigue and stillness in the aftermath of a break-up.  As if through a blind, the images appear in stripes rolling over the screen, scanning the original frame and thus repeating the movement of the camera. The video was first shown in a 2-channel version at Atelier Nord in Oslo.
